You just reminded me of my Mom's cat, Sally. She was a senior with diabetes and when mom decided to move to Florida, her and her vet thought it would be best to put her down. She did and to this day the tears flow from time to time when we talk about Sally. Sorry to hijack but I'm alone today and a bit whiney.

I still miss my diabetic Siamese to this day and she has been gone for years now. I cry thinking of her, I cry looking at pictures of her, I cry talking about her.

Dear gf,
I am sorry you lost your precious one to diabetes.
I have had 2 kitties in my life that were diabetic.
One of them recovered and lived to be 12 years old.
The other one,Simon, died due to complications of diabetes.
I miss him a lot too.
He was a sweetheart.
