Movin' on up!
All I caught was their ride to the Guildhall and their return to the castle. I mainly wanted to see what she was wearing. LOVE the hat! (Shoes aren't my only passion).

I WAS surprised to see that Joan Rivers was one of the guests - she's been taking shots at the royals, for years. HER outfit was great, too.

I have to agree with you on that one Tricia!.

For a long time now i've often wondered if Prince Harry is Charles son?!.

Major James Hewitt comes to my mind?!.

And i didn't buy her "poor me" act either, as they said on a programme about her life just last week, "attention seeker" was used many times!.

I just wish them luck and hope they will be happy. He never has looked happy to me, until today. I hope the two boys are going to be okay with this-

Susie thats normal for the Queen not to show any expression, thats how royalty from a young age are told to compose themselves, just like Dianas funeral where no one shed any tears, even her sons?!.

Well i hope they live happily ever after as they say in fairy stories because he certainly seemed happier than what he did at his first wedding
"Keep a stiff upper lip." Is that the saying?

Yep, which is why I feel the media have treated him unfairly - most of the mudslinging was from Diana's camp, and he didn't react much, so he was automatically the "villain". I get into this with my mother all the time, because she says Diana was used as a "brood mare". If Diana didn't consider that before the marriage, she should have, and was "criminally" naive, or the victim of her family's machinations. What about him? He was forced to be the "stud", and to "service" a narcissistic, hysterical, bulimic clotheshorse, just to ensure that there were heirs. Who "used" whom? She certainly enjoyed her role as a princess in the public eye, and mastered PR.
As to Prince Harry - he looks so much like Diana's sisters that I don't really question his heritage.

Oh, heck, we say that at church every Sunday!
It's not as though they had to tell when and where and go into details.

I'm in trouble with my mom, an ardent Diana fan, judging by tonight's fax. She called after I was in bed last night, and talked to my husband. He told her that I watched the coverage Saturday, and was "approving".
What can I say? I think Diana wanted a prince, and ended up with a frog, while Camilla loved the frog, and ended up with the/a prince.

From what I understand, the Church of England requires that prayer at any blessing of a marriage, i.e., civil ceremony.

I guess since he's going to be King and all, and she is his Princess, and they were ogling each other while he was married to Di, they just had to fess up and admit it to the church? I thought it was a cool aspect of the wedding, and maybe it should be done for all weddings, even here in the very sinful & wicked America.

I thought Camilla looked mighty pretty. And Charles looked happier marrying his long-time love than he did marrying Di way back when. People say how ugly Camilla is, but if you look at Charles? I think they make a well-matched couple! Not that he is ugly. I just think they look good together.

They seem well-suited, IMO, and I find it outrageous that the British media are comparing Camilla, at 57, to a 20-year-old (at the time of her marriage) or 36-year-old Diana (at the time of her untimely death). Whatever happened to fairness? I don't find Camilla at all ugly; in fact, she has far more "even features* than Diana, but doesn't seem apt to flaunt.

Actually, my understanding is that Camilla is much prettier in person and that she just does not photograph well - I can relate!!!

I too loved Diana for all the romantic common girl gets prince sort of stuff, but Diana was just too, too young for Charles and not prepared for publicly representing herself.

I think it's wonderful that Charles and Camilla still love each other and want to be together. Charles could easily have behaved like most North American men and chosen someone young enough to be his daughter but instead chose Camilla.

Kudows to Charles and Camilla

I don't think she's ugly?!.

Theres been a high percentage of the public that has been won over by her, even more so since their wedding and i'd put my savings on her becoming even more popular over the next few months

The private pictures that were in the newspapers of them were lovely, and he really looked like he finally found his princess

I agree. I also think she is much more mature and suited to be at his side as Monarch. Dianna was much too needy and had to have all the attention whereas Camilla is happy to let Charles shine and as our future king he SHOULD shine.

I think the media have been having a field day with the "Rottweiler" tag, which is unfair. She's an attractive woman who has aged gracefully, and seems to set little store by so-called "glamo(u)r". She seemed a bit overwhelmed during the blessing ceremony, and his concern for her was obvious.
