I just wanted to share a story with you. When I lost my babygirl jessie in March, I played the song "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins over and over while looking at her pictures. Music seems to be the only thing that soothes me besides petting my precious kitty. So, everytime I listen to that song I think about her and how much I miss her. When I got my new babygirl punkin, I had found her outside, then she went to my mom's barn for awhile then I brought her home after jessie had crossed rainbow bridge. Well, punkin just crossed rainbow bridge Wednesday. The song that I have chosen that makes me think of her is "Because you love me" by Jo Dee Messina. It fits perfectly. Here are the lyrics. It's just beautiful like the Phil Collins song.

Although I am thouroughly depressed and miss them both so much, when I hear this, I think about the fact that they both were able to know how good things could be and know what it felt like to be loved. They were both found outside as kittens trying to make their way in this world. I am so glad they came into mine. I had 17 wonderful years with my jessie. I wish I would have had more than 2 weeks with my punkin.

You make me feel like crying!!! (not to make you feel bad at all!!) I know how you feel.. I lost my baby Killian in October after only 3 short months with him.. sometimes ill hear a song or just see something that reminds me of him and i want to lay down and bawl my eyes out....

Awww, I am sorry for your loss too!
It's hard because we appreciate the time we have with them but it never seems long enough!!!
I just thought maybe that song or lyrics might help someone else have good thoughts about their darling too. Of course I cry everytime I hear one of them but.... I need to cry. I think it's good to get it out.
