Head Butts

My little Sadie Kitty, head butts my right hand while it is on the mouse, when I am using my computer. Purr....Butt....Purr....Butt...Purr...Butt. It makes it amost impossible to get anything done.

Does anyone else have a Head Butt problem with their furbaby?

Yes they are all always fighting to get on my lap and interrupt me,but I can't complain kitty kisses are the BEST.

Sadie has that impeccable timing that cats are famous for, huh?

Cosette is still too young to care too much about kisses or head butts, but Eponine head butts when she is happy- it's her version of a kiss!

Meish is a head butter as well as a butt head.

She butts when she's happy as well as kneads. She's too funny.

Oh, yes. Cindy is my head butter. When she's on my lap at the computer, she butts the keyboard drawer shut

(I don't like it all the way out, so it's not latched). When it's all the way in, she turns and starts butting my face.

Suppose she's trying to tell me something?

Garfield, my orange tiger boy, jumps on my lap when I am at the computer. Then he headbutts my face, like ugaimes kitty, its his way of giving a kiss. Then he settles down on my lap, but I am expected to pet him. Once I quit petting him, he will sometimes give himself a full bath sitting on my lap.

My brown tiger girl Festus never really headbutts. She just jumps up and expects both hands to pet her.

Bert and Ernie are very well-practiced head-butters!

Now that they're getting bigger they are giving stronger and stronger head-butts. Silly boys.

oh yes, I have a head butter/rubber here too! It starts out with a head butt, then turns into a rub- so hard that his lips curl back and he rubbs his gums on my face! Cute, but not so cute after a meal of wet cat food. (yuck!)

Two little girls here as well who love giving head butts and their mum loves them!

Sophie gives them at any point during the day, but Rosie gives them when she wants something e.g. a treat!

too....I sure do love 'em though. Wallace, the "butt head" ...mmmm, I mean, "head butter," loves to head butt. All I have to do practically is say his name and he runs up and is ready to leap to my face to give it the 'ol head butt and he does the "open lips rub the teeth thing" too. He pushes and rubs the whole side of my face when I say, "give me a kiss." It's quite sweet. Marcellus is very gentlemanly and dignified with his. He puts his head down and gently nudges when I go for my kitty kiss. Lewis is the most cuddly of all but wants absolutely nuttin' doin' with head butts.

Cj licks me but no head butts.

I wish he did, I love head butts, tiggy at my parent's house gives them as a hello greeting. He also does it after dinner. But not Cj, nope, just likes to lick your forehead, chin, whatever. And he has the roughest tounge I have ever been cat kissed with. More than one or two kisses will rub a raw spot on your face!
Oh well I will take what I can get.

Guinness headbutts when it is normally food time! In the morning, when I am trying to make his breakfast he normally ends up headbutting/snotting all over my bare legs!

I wouldn't change his habits for the world...

I must add to this... I have also managed to trip Guinness / myself up when he is doing this - cos sometimes I am walking from the bedroom to the kitchen and he will run in and outof my legs to butt me!

Even though he gets kicked (by accident) it has still not put him off giving me love!

Gracie is my headbutter. When I'm working on my laptop, she'll come and stand right next to it on the desk or dining room stable. If I don't acknowledge her, then she'll start with the head butts. Then, she starts walking back and forth across the keyboard and eventually settles down on my lap. This is the only time she's a lap kitty. Don't know why!

Sam thinks that when your hand is curved over the mouse, it is the perfect shape to rub his head. So he shoves his head under my hand and pushes the mouse out of the way. I think he considers the mouse to be cat patting training.
