I've heard a couple people here talking about it!
Maybe we can tell each other the different things you use or do and get ideas from each other?

What kind of things do you do? 12x12 books? Or anything different?

I do 6x6 books, and cards for gifts a lot of the time.

Where do you buy your supplies? I mostly go to Michaels for the basics but for more interesting things I go to one of the local shops. I have bought a few things online, but I am wary of buying single papers. Has anyone ever done that? Do they get to you without being crumpled?

Does anyone know of a place I can buy a lot of cat things? I am thinking of making a scrapbook for my mom for her cats but I can't find a lot~

Hope to hear from you scrapbookers out there!

Hey I'm a scrapbooker!!!

I get my supplies a few different places. Most of the time I go to a scrapbook store as there are a few local ones here, but sometimes I will also go to Michaels if that is more convenient.

I can't tell you specifically where to get cat stuff because I pretty much just pick up bits and pieces where I can find them and accumulate themes that way.

Good luck on your mom's scrapbook. I'm sure it will turn out wonderfully.

When I left home at age 17, I scrapbooked for many years. I did a 12x12 and it had everything in it, it was my pride and joy.....the "documentation of my roaring twenties", so to speak.
But for some reason it was in the basement many years ago and we had a very bad flood. It was totally lost, completely unsalvageable. It had such a huge portion of my young adult life in it and I was so winded from the loss, I just never started another. But I remember I loved it when I had it!! It even had my long, bleached, platinum blonde hair in it, my first kitties fur, and long hair tassels from my Indian friends, too.

I love Hobby Lobby for scrapbooking stuff. And Border's and Barnes & Nobles has some cute stuff these days!

I always want to start one for me or my cats but I get nervous and worry about making it look bad. So I never start.
I'm so pathetic.

I am a huge scrapbooker!! My husband thinks I am nuts but he likes my work. I do mainly 12X12 but I also do 6X6 books as they are easier to carry to show off my work. I get my generic stuff from Micheals and AC Moore (a big craft store in my area). For specific stuff www.paperaddict.com has a HUGE selection of paper and I also go to ebay to thier craft section and search on cats. I have quite a few cat embellishments and papers. When I get the hang of posting I thought I would try to post some pictures of my cat pages. I can't seem to downsize my picture to post. They come out huge
and I don't want to discomfit anyone trying to log on. So when I figure out the pixel thing I will share. I also make my own cards and various other craft things. Being such an analytical accountant I need some creative outlet.

Ashley,

I've actually done books for my RB kitties (or at least started them). It can be pretty sad so it's difficult, but healing, you know? I'm a 12 x 12 scrapper because I can't make myself crop the actual picture. Cutting up a picture is against the law - the law according to me
I'm awful because I leave spaces in all my scrapbooks for journaling and then it stays that way for years
I finally broke down this year and set up "scrapbook tables" in a spare room. Two 6 feet long tables - Trashes the room out but I use it and who really goes in there besides me anyway. Me sis emailed and her friends and her are going out of town for a crop weekend. She said she was not looking forward the loading up the cropper hopper (XXL like mine - LOL) and the Smoothie Maker and the speakers for the music. I don't know that they get much done on their weekends.

Here it is - everyone come over for a crop party! I've got the Smoothie Maker here already!

Isn't it?? When Eric and I first got to know each other well, I had nothing to show him really. Some baby photos but a lot of the stuff that mattered was gone....because I had stuck my high school stuff in with the Roaring Twenties scrapbook. <sigh>

Im a scrapbooker - actually last weekend, I was in Myrtle Beach for a retreat and literally scrapped til I dropped and had a 'cropover' the next morning! I finally got caught up on my son's book!

I usually buy my supplies from:
AC Moore
Michaels
eBay
Stampin' Up!
Your Scrapbook Superstore (in Pigeon Forge, TN, which ROCKS!)

See, my name is Kellye, and I am an addict!

Sam - try looking in Spotlight for scrapbooking supplies. Do you know of any good scrapbooking supplies shops in Welly? I would love to look when I am in the area in December!

I love to scrapbook! I usually do 12 x 12, but I'm actually going to start an 8 x 8 to give as a gift. I mostly buy at my local scrapbook stores, but somes buy at Michael's if I have a coupon. An acquaintance of mine loves Lifetime Moments not only for their online store, but for their extensive message boards.
