kitten not peeing

my 5 week old kitten has just started using the litter tray to poop but hasnt yet peed in it.

i think his mum is still helping him with peeing but i cant be sure. she still licks and washes him down there like she always has.

sometimes he just sits in the tray and acts like he's going to the toilet but nothing comes out.

should i be worried or will he learn in time?

crisis over- the kitten peed in the tray!

Good to hear he's doing everything a baby kitty should.

oh yes he's just terminally lazy.

why waste energy peeing when mummy will do it for you?

looks like she's drawing the line at eating his poop though...
