I usually arrive at the office about 10-12 minutes before 8:00 am. Most of the others wander in at 8:00 on the dot. Sometimes there is a pan of bars, cookies or do-nuts in the lunch room. The late arrivers all have to ask who brought the treats. Then since I come early most ask me. Who cares just who brought them enjoy them. Then they have to stand around and discuss the "treats" as if it was the some important topic on the face of the earth.

I don't know why this drives me crazy but it does!!!
Thanks for letting me rant

Maybe it drives you crazy because it's a phony and forced ritual??? That's what it sounds like by the way you describe it. That's too bad, but the goodies sound nice!

LOL! Gail, I'm sorry, - but here's my office rant (besides the unbearable co-worker), and that is, somebody opens only 1/2 of those little fake sugar packets for her/his coffee. Then they prop it up against the sugar bowl or some place precarious and then during the day it sprays around all over the counters, like sand.
