I just saw a funny commercial (and disturbing). I think it was ameriquest.

Anyway this guy gets home from work and the cat keeps getting in his way. He's trying to make a nice dinner for his s/o. So he's making tomato something or other on the stove. The cat gets up on the side table and tips over the soup and the guy grabs the cat and the sauce gets all over the cat (that is white). The wife walks in and you see the caption "Don't judge too quickly" and the guy is holding the cat, covered in sauce with a knife in the other hand....

The wife just stands there

I've seen that commercial and it's HILARIOUS... the cat is being all mischievious and the husband-guy is trying to be a nice guy and cook dinner for his wife-gal and save the cat from being hurt and it ends up looking like he's performing some kind of animal sacrifice JUST as she walks in - LOL - with the tagline "don't be too quick to judge" or something like it

I've seen it, I have it in email as well sent to me by an outraged cat lover. Seen it its entirety it can be funny to some, but if you walk in on it halfway through it could be quite disturbing. Personally I didn't care for the thought behind it, funny or not-

yup, that's it

I like it thought, it's funny and it really has nothing against animals, it just uses a white cat as soft of a prop.

I thought it was actually very funny

Yup. I thought it was funny because the cat had the potential to be like Baylee (spilling things, getting in the way) and the tag "don't judge too quickly" was clever but I can see how others might be offended by it.

Lol that commercial is SOOOO funny. I didn't find it disturbing at all. I took it as more of a special romantic date early in the relationship rather than a hubby/wife thing.. You know, when he wants everything to be just perfect and she walks in to that scene with the cat hehe..

That's exactly what happened to me - I saw it from halfway through, all I saw was the guy with a knife, the cat, and what appeared to be blood...I was all freaked out until someone explained to me what it REALLY was.......

I saw it and thought it was clever...but... I saw it as when the wife walked in it looked like he was in the process of making the cat FOR dinner. Oh.. now thats a disturbing thought. Its not the end of the world, but it did turn me off.
