My sore throught isnt gettn better, but the pain let up some. I'm thinkn if I should go the the ER or not. UHHHH I can't even talk cause it hurts so bad. I wanna cry
. I hope it ain't strep.
Earaches, stuffy/runny nose, my mom looked at my throat and she said I had bumps all in it. I know its swollen some too.

Wish me luck on the ER visit.

Good luck Ash. I'm glad you've decided to go. Sore throats aren't anything to mess with when they last longer than 3 days. Let us know what happens. And you can always 'talk' to us... typing shouldn't hurt your throat

Oh Ashley, GET WELL SOON!!!!!!
I hope the hospital can find out what's wrong. To Dr. Amy, it sounds like strep throat (which I've had more times than I can count). If it is, you can more than likely get a shot that will have you feeling better very soon. Sending you major healing vibes{{{{{{}}}}}} and some virtual chicken soup!

It's just a sore throat, i wouldn't. sometimes it does become so bad, so that you can't talk or it feels like you can't breathe or eat.. it will pass
try a doctor first

Thanks, I love your too such a cute kitten.
.

All I had was inflamation of the throat. Allergy related. My nose and ears had gunk running into my throat which caused the infection.
NO STREP

Don't get me wrong but don't go to the ER. Wait and go to Urgent Care or your doctor. Why? Sunday I had a major asthma attack. Coughing and vomitting. We went to the ER and we waiting 6 hours with me coughing and vomitting in the waiting room! I ended up spending 6 hours on IVs for medication and a 1 hour breathing treatment because they waited so long. By the time I got in I could have gone to the Urgent Care across the street. And they consider breathing an important issue at ERs! So I don't recommend going, you'll get better treatment if you can wait.

OMG, Thats so wrong of them to do that. Our hospital just built a bigger ER. I suppose better, but when I went no one was there but one person(anouther sick person). Wait was less than ten minutes. Partly for the lab test. At the time I was getting very hot and tired(101.2 fever). I was given antibiotics and was feeling better with in hours. I was there at 11:30 ish pm out at 12am.

Most of our hospitals have closed due to illegals. They can't cover the costs of caring for the illegals so there's like only 2 or 3 ERs for all of San Diego. It sucks.
