Firstly I want to thank all for the good vibes for hubby. We found out he got the promotion.

Now I yet again need to ask for some vibes. I recently found out that my friend and neighbor and work out buddy has a brain tumor. She got the results from her MRI today and has a meeting with her dr tomorrow before yet another MRI on the 17th. Any good thoughts are appreciated. Thank you all.

I've said a prayer for her. Keep her spirits high! Don't let her have a negative attitude. If she's in good spirits, she's already half way to cured!

Keep us posted.

She is quite positive about it. Right now the hard thing is her husband is away with his troop. She's sending a red cross message to try and get him home. She needs him with her. She shouldn't be going through this by herself. I hate this helpless feeling I have. I wish there was something I could do for her... (other than feed her and entertain her with movies). She knows I'm here anytime she needs me. Maybe that is the best thing. I'm going with her to her Dr. appointment tomorrow for moral support. I tried talking her into sleeping here tonight but she declined. I can't imagine what she is going through. Her family is far away and her husband is as well. I wouldn't want to be alone.

At the kitty's beck and call
Congratulations, I'm so glad he got the promotion.

Sending lots of vibes for your friend - you're being a wonderful friend for her at a time when the others close to her are far away. I'm sure you're doing everything she would wish a friend to do.

As for support, is your friend/neighbor active in an FRG or Waiting Spouses group? She may find some support through them
Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers....On a positive note, congrats to hubby on the promotion!!!

I just got back from the hospital with my friend. The Red Cross is going to get her husband home... We'll be going to Nashville next week for a surgical consult. Sadly her form of cancer is a childhood development that went undiagnosed and has grown so large it is effecting her vision.

So glad they're getting her husband home - any time frame? And do you know what the doctor's say about what her prognosis is/what will have to be done? How sad... she's lucky to have you there with her, I know I couldn't do it alone.
