new roommates

My friend and I have just moved into a new apartment together. Each of us have a cat. Mine is Katie and hers is Kitty. Katie and Kitty do not get along at all. Lots of hissing, growling and chasing going on. Katie is an elder cat of 14 and I believe Kitty is around 4. Please help us convince Kitty and Katie to become friends.

how long have you been living together? introducing cats is typically a slow process. there's many threads on this site - just do a search. it'll take patience on your part but it's worth it. it took mine about a week before i let them roam freely and unsupervised together.
