We still eat Ramens, but as soup the way they are supposed to be, and not for breakfast.
You just made me think of another one! When I was in elementary school it used to be the cool thing to bring a package of Ramen and a ziploc bag. You'd cruch up the noodles without cooking them, pour them in the ziploc with the seasoning, shake, and then enjoy. Ugh, I can't believe I used to bring those everyday!!!

Yep, did that. I swam competitively as a kid, and we'd eat Jello powder before a race, for the extra energy (now I know it was extra sugar).

Other things I ate as a kid and don't like now:
Vienna sausage in a can
Deviled ham in a can
Fried chicken (now even the smell makes me sick)
Sugar and butter sandwiches on white bread (a favorite snack of a friend)

I used to just drink syrup right out of the bottle. I actually have a memory of running from my mom with the bottle straight up in the air, still pouring it into my mouth, as she's trying to get it away from me.
I loved that stuff.

I also used to drink the pickle juice from the jar.

Reading all these replies I don't have anyone beat.
In fact, I can't seem to think of anything weird that I wouldn't eat today.
I used to love a good spoonful of straight sugar. I would never do that now. I liked chocoalte milk with cereals like Corn FlakesÂ[emoji]174[/emoji] or Rice KrispiesÂ[emoji]174[/emoji]. No butter and sugar or mayonaise sandwiches for me. No chewing the excess fat off meat.

Hmmm
Whenever Mom would do a pork roast, the rind would get all hard on the outside. My brother and I almost fought over who got the biggest piece of 'crackle' -the fat from the outside of the roast that was hard on one side.

Hehehe - it is nice to hear about all the others who also ate raw hamburger. My Mom and I used to share it

pickled pigs' feet;
grape koolaid powder with sugar;
white sugar sandwiches with white bread;

I was not a picky eater and enjoy a whole variety of different foods now, but I am a lot more careful about my choices, health-wise:-).

I never ate blood pudding although it was my Mom's favourite, and my brother used to sneak spoonfuls of catfood from the tin in the fridge:-).

Kathryn

Oh - and non-food items - I used to love eating the paper from outside of baked muffins, the yellow glue you used in school:-), and the fleshy leaves of portulaca from the garden, hehehe.

I used to eat raw brownie batter. I would mix it up when my mom wasn't around and just eat the whole darn bowl! Of course I paid the price later but it sure didn't stop me from doing it again! LOL
Now years later, I can barely eat anything remotely sweet.

I once ate a catapillar. It was a furry one. But it was an accident, really, it just fell into my mouth and i ate it. True story. I must of been to young at the time to know enough to spit it out. Maybe I was a bird in my past life.

I never really ate anything unusual for breakfast. However for snacks I used to eat raw green beans, and raw potatos, they're really good that way.

My mum and dad owned a pet shop when I was around 8 yrs old. The doggy chocolate drops came in like Smarties tubes, and we'd sneak one out of each tube and eat them.

I can't imagine eating them now
