I have a 13 year old neutered male. Lately he's been walking around with a limp. I don't think it's a bite, he's eating and drinking fine.
My question is, can cats get arthritis like dogs can? I'm just wondering if that is what he has. If the limp goes on for much longer he's gonna have to go to the vet (sigh).

I second the vet idea. Cats CAN get arthritis, but IMHO 13 is a bit young for him to be getting it and sometimes abcesses take days to form up to where you can feel something.....Good luck and let us know how he is
