We are located in Maryland and take in unwanted pregnant cats or cats with newborn litters. We do this so these kittens are not immediately put to sleep in a shelter. I work at a vet and can usually place these kittens and cats with no problems. We can only take in three at a time and have space now for 1. Working with our vet I can get the new kittens and mother spayed and neutered for a cheap price and get all necessary vaccines and testing. If you need help finding a place for your pregnant cat or found a stray that is pregnant let us know. We may be able to help. Good Luck!

It's also a very old thread, back in April 2005. Pity, as it reads as a fantastic offer.

Hi, it is merry old England you live in?

It may be true the best is if you find her a new home. So keep on trying!  But be sure it is a responsible home, not somebody who wants a sparring for their pitbull.

The perhaps best way is to ask them donate a sum, at least 10 punds, for some charity you both agree upon, in the cats name.

But spaying doesnt need to be be very costly. It is often fully possible to find cheap clinics. Did you asked at shelters nearby, if they can recommend some cheap possiblility?

If she is early in pregnancy spaying isnt difficult.

I had seen british vet handbooks who DO recommend spaying in early pregnancy. It is better than spaying while in heat...

Good luck!
