Why do you like your shaving razor?

I use the Venus, also. I've used it since it came out. It's the closest shave I've found, and I rarely get razor burn since I've been using it. This is rare because I have ultra sensitive skin. This is my favorite razor I've ever used. I like the way it fits in my hand, too, plus it's just such a pretty little pink razor! If I tried using one of those disposable razors, my legs would probably never recover!

LOL!!! One look at the title of this thread yesterday and I didn't even bother clicking it, but now it's late at night and I'm talking to my programmer about taxes and the payments I made to him in 04' so I'll will read anything to distract me.

Cindy, the only way the hair comes off my legs is if I slide into second base!

And Elizabeth, you know I wouldn't dare call you Sashabrat again. (Oops. I just did... twice in fact!

Heheh I think a simple old disposable bic will do me any day
I hate the fact they make women's razors with big, wide and rubber gripped handles like we're incapable of using anything smaller than kiddie chalks - if anything the handles just hinder the use! It must have been a man who designed those! Personally though, I tend to wax if we're going out somewhere nice.... I use the razor every other time - I spend most of my time in jeans, so no-one knows or cares if my legs look like either a tropical rainforest in spring, or like a warzone of cuts

i havew red spots all over my legs of where the hair is supposed to be when i shave, and my legs get prickley with in 12 hours!
I use the men's shaver that they sell at lidl.. my bf loves it for his beard and underarms... yes german boys like to shave their underarms lol!
well right now i have a furry forest under my arms i might shave it tonight...
with the pill now parts of my legs are hairless...
when i was younger i always wished for my body hair to go into my private bit or under my arms so i would have to worry or be ashamed

Fwan, I worry about you!! You actually wished for hairy legs and pits and stuff? And to think that after puberty we spend a lot of our time getting rid of it all!!!
I tell you though... waxing is fab... the only sticking point (scuse the choice of words) I have is when you have to get the bikini-line done! Yowch! I invested in a special electric bikini-line trimmer - I love that thing! I did have to laugh though... it came in a pack complete with stencils so you can make silly patterns

I use triple-blade disposables when I bother to shave. bic Soliel or Noxema for women

My housemate has a mach3 for his beard and underarms, and a Quattro for his *ahem* nethers (TOO MUCH INFORMATION for me, but I was dumb enough to ask. . .)

I don't know why but I don't have a lot of hair anywhere! I haven't actually shaved (or had to) my legs for 25 years now, right after my hysterectomy. I don't have much hair under my arms either. I feel lucky and blessed!

OH my gosh! it came with stencils??? That's the best thing I've heard all day! I love my electric bikini trimmer too....but stencils? That's just awsome!!!

Does waxing your legs hurt as much as your face? I get my eyebrows and upperlip done about once a month and it hurts and my face gets red and swollen immediately after. I can't imagine doing that to my body in large chunks, but I do like the idea of having it grow back more slowly.

have any of you ever tried electrocuting your hairs???
My Neighbour worked at a beautisalon and she said that some women come and get their hairs electrocuted and it takes about 2 years + for the hairs to grow back...
But it takes a while, it takes 2 appointments to finish both legs

men's razors are usually better than womens, that's the basic bottom line.

I use an electric wet/dry shaver - remington M550 ( i think). It cuts close and i love shaving just on the go, without taking a shower at the same time.
