I probably had mentioned earlier that when I got Bakker he is going to be a strictly inside boy. Well of course my hubby doesn't agree with that
and on Sat & Sun let him outside (with supervision). Well of course he loves it-a bit scared of the open lawn, or when cars or motorcycles go by. So I put a collar on him and if I can't see him or if I'm busy he will be back in the house.
(for now)
Last night Neil put him in his "garage/workshop" while he was working on stuff.
He couldn't find him but after calling him-he heard him walking above him. Bakker had gone upstairs and crawled behind the insulation on the walls as he have not finished the upstairs yet and must have jumped down to the ceiling. He heard him on the ceiling walking above his head.
He got him to come out and took him in the house.
I just had to shake my head... What a goofball

it's all seems fun, but i'd freak out
some insulation can only be handled with gloves and there's tons of dust, i'm sure. I'd talk to your hobby about controling his emotions - especially since they're not based on fact - and the fact is: cats should be 100% indoor

My husband is a great guy - but stubborn. He says Bijou wants to go outside so we shouldn't keep him from going out! I get very angry as I've always believed in indoor cats. I've had cats all my life and he hasn't but he "naturally" knows more than me!
I hate to say it, but I honestly think something serious is going to have to happen to Bijou when he is outside before my husband will listen to me and stop letting him out. Men - you can't live with 'em sometimes!

I don't mind if he was outside if I was sitting outside and reading a book because he was right by my feet. But I don't want him to wander around and have anything happen to him. So I guess I'll be training two men!!

The cats should not be outside, especially purebred, IMO. It's like letting a dimond necklase out, LOL.
