The black kitty - you think she is further along, so let's start with her:

Do you observe the kittens moving around? Does Momma seem sluggish at all? Is she looking around for a delivery nest? I realize they just got there, so it may be hard to tell yet just what she is doing, but it might help to know.

The Cali - well, that's just anyone's guess at the moment since I can't feel her belly through my computer. *grin*

Sorry not to be of more help to you.
Hello can you help me with my pregnant cat?

She is 10 months old, in 5 days she will be 63 days along, she is a calico medium hair. For the past 48 hours she has had diarreha, the babies are moving a lot. She is eating and drinking frequently. Off and on for past 24 hours when resting her limbs seem to quiver(what is that?). She seems a bit more restful than usual. Is she o.k.? Do you think delivery is soon? Than you!!!!!!!

Have you contacted your vet?? Since I'm not sure when Gaye will be back online...it would probably be a good idea to contact your vet.

I don't like the sound of the back legs quivering, but in truth, it could be her reaction to a few little early contractions ... so long as she is walking and moving around OK, eating, drinking, pooping, peeing (all the ING'S *grin*) I think she is probably fine, but a call in to your vet might not be a bad idea at this point. The loose stools could also be normal as most queens will evacuate their bowels and bladder prior to giving birth. It sounds very, very close. Can you be around to observe and watch out for her?

Ten months is awfully young to be breeding ... was this an Oops litter? I presume that after the babies are weaned, you'll be having your vet spay her?

I am new to this site, I apologize if my initial communication was inappropriate.
Rosebud was a rescue kitty. She was found mating with a male cat and no one ever claimed her so I adopted her. Her age has been estimated by her vet with whom I have an appt. with at 2:30 this afternoon. He told me over the phone he did not see a key reason to be concerned unless she becomes dehydrated. Feeling a bt anxious about it I was looking for any of your wise and experienced opinions.
I definitely do not planning on leaving her until she succesfully has her kittens. Thank you again for any input...

hi, my girl Scoobie was quivering from back legs to tip of tail and had a poorly tummy about 2 days before she had her litter. she has always done the tail quivering thing, something she seems to have inherited from her great grandma prissels. she was eating and sleeping fine but the diorriah (sp?) was horrible and violent, as quick as it started it stopped again but we kept her in our room and i phoned my mum (novice cat breeder) for advice, she said a few of hers were the same. if you are at all worried about your girlie then get her checked by the vet its always better to be safe than sorry,
sorry i cant be of much more help. all the best and good luck
