Winter, please go away!!!!!

What a weekend! We had the winter/spring storm of the century, (or at least it seemed like it) We've been without power at home since Saturday, and predicted not to be back up till Tuesday evening........

And how was your weekends???

Sooooo much better than yours, Susie! I'm so sorry about your power. Oh, that must be just miserable, I sure hope you and your babies are keeping warm! You must realize how very missed you've been around here!

Awww, Susie, that's no fun! Here's hoping that they'll get it on sooner than predicted! At least now I know where you were this weekend!

LOL, twenty years ago, or maybe even 10, I would have answered you with only a , but at this age, it is with tons of quilts/blankets! LOL

Susie, you have my sympathy. We also had the weekend from hell. It snowed Saturday and Sunday (not a lot of accumulation but enough to make driving miserable). Sunday was particularly bad as toward the end of the day it was actually sleet/freezing rain. This mornin the sun is shining (of course - it's a work day) but our driveway and sidewalk to the house are like a skating rink - sheer ice.

Well Friday it was awesome here. Saturday? Whoa. I woke up at 5am because I KNEW there was something getting ready to hit. Susie, we got the same thing y'all did... 45 mph winds, cold, icky weird snow. No accumulation but I swear I got blown away!!! I ran out early and did all my errands, got home by noon just as the storm hit. Well as I was walking the cart to my car at Kroger, the wind blew my cart of track and just about took me with it!

Sunday however here was a totally different story! LOVELY! Sunny, nice out. I got a lot done in my yard, tore out some old bushes, hung up a hammock chair (really cool thang), washed my filthy car.

Cleaned up the mess in the yard from the high winds, too. What a mess.

Holy cow!! And I thought we were bad with being 70* today, and expecting snow tomorrow night.

Funny thing is, it's supposed to be high near 70 again on Wednesday!! LOL

Got the snow here - but *knock on wood* the electricity held! I still have nightmares from when we lost the power for 3 days the week we moved here.

Oh we're from Erie, PA and we got dumped on as well... over a foot of snow! Not like that much snow is unheard of for Erie, but come on --- it's supposed to be SPRING.

I think Mother Nature better learn how to read a calendar!!

We didnt lose electricity though... phone lines are down at work, but that's not a bad thing

We're supposed to be near 70's by Wednesday too. Where do you suppose all that water's gonna go??????????
