I think this promotion will be good...

Hi, all.

My new department opened on April 1...of course, the department consists of just me at the moment, in addition to the rest of my work load...but still...I am now the official trainer for my region; responsible for training new licensees, mentors, and on-going training for the established agents...encompassing 12 offices at the moment, and soon to expand to somewhere on the order of 30-35.

Well, the first ever weekend training session - 7 new licensees - was just completed. I am exhausted, happy, satisfied, and blown. There's nothing left. Thank God for my kitties - I came home and Simon just jumped on my lap and loved on me...

I am really excited with the success of the weekend, and very tickled that I was able to pull this together in 10 days; 11 days ago, the weekend had not been scheduled, and was only "something we'll do soon."...

Now, on the other side of it, I am pretty darned proud of myself, and happy that I've accomplished something that was difficult, intense, and a serious challenge.

I also just read through the evaluations I asked everyone to complete, and everyone noted that they wanted more weekend events, that I was a great trainer, and that they really enjoyed themselves.

YAY ME!!!!!
