I watched the movie Riverworld on Sci Fi channel, and I got instantly interested in it.... incredibly good plot, and I am now interested in the books. Has anyone read them?

Sorry no.. it does seem like an interesting concept (I also saw the movie) but the movie itself left me with a feeling of "low budget/poor acting" but then again that seems to be the usual for "Sci-Fi" channel produced movies.

Yeah, that was the impression I got from the movie 10.5.
Whoops, started typing this and had Riverwold mixed up with Earthsea for a moment. I've never read the book, but my avid Sci-Fi reader bf read it and quite liked it as I recall. Said it was pretty clever.
