Thank you, Jasper and I are very flattered to be picked.

1. I didn't get to have another cat until I was grown and married with young sons because by the time my brothers allergys improved we got a dog, and I had dogs and other pets that wouldn't have mixed well with cats. I guess I was about 32 or so before I got to have another one.

2. Yes, they all love them, although I am not sure my sons love them quite as much as I do because of their allergies, my husband is a total slave to Jasper, just like I am

3. He has several ways to wake me. Usually he starts out by bring me a toy, usually his favorite wand toy. If that doesn't wake me or if I try to "play sleep" he then will either jump ON me and walk around placing his whole 14 pounds into EACH paw as he walks, walk silently up to my face and then MEEEOOOWWWW?? into it, or if he has tried all of these or is impatient he will tunnel under the covers and nip me on the toe or bare calf ! He likes me to be up no later than 5 am every morning BTW......sigh.........

Thank you Yayi. As far as similarities go, they were/are similar in their "terrible teen ego" stages . Jasper is going through that now and is constantly trying to impress me with what a "big mean and scary" cat he is and that he is a "big boy" now. His latest little trick is to either race through the house till he finds me and then run sideways with his back arched up and tail puffed to impress me with his "fierceness" or else to sneak up behind me while I am on the computer and "nip" me on the rear, then race away like a rocket!

Dere Yayi, my favorite human after meowmy wood be daddy , he plays with me too, and carries me around but meowmy is my first pick always .

Carol: What do you call the "collar" of hair around lil Jasper?

Oh, my, that so reminds me of our [RB]Nibs, who was 20 pounds when he came to us, lost 7, and still managed to get all 20 onto each paw. Never met another cat like that.

I'm not good at coming up with questions, but here are a couple...

Carol, is Jasper a talker in general, or just at wake-up time, and what's his voice like?

Jasper, does Meowmy listen well when you talk to her?

Boy Linda, THAT is a hard question! If I must pick one I guess it will be hot wings, and of course, my acid reflux LOVES them too .

My closest friends are on this forum since I moved here almost 4 years ago now. I had one close friend that I tried to keep in touch with, but then I got the opportunity to see that she was really NOT such a good friend after all and so we no longer speak. But my cyber friends here are great and keep me from feeling lonely.

Hi Cindy, good morning to you as well.

My favorite colors are green and blue.

I collect dolls and indian jewelry, and would like to collect more cats but Jasper wouldn't care much for that I don't think.

I would love to have a siamese, another ragdoll, a main coon, a himmy, a bengal, a british shorthair......the list goes on and on

Thank you. I am enjoying it alot

1. Yes, I have been in Mexico twice as a young girl with my parents.

2. I can speak just a very tiny bit of Spanish, I took it in 7th and 8th grade but that was a looooong time ago.

I LOVE Mexican food and eat it every week. My favorites are chicken enchaladas, flautas, chili rellanos and tamales, and guacamole of course!

I collect coca-cola items, mugs, dishes, metal signs etc.

Jasper was a quiet little boy when I first got him, but I still had (RB) Butch then and he talked like a siamese, and just as loud, plus I talk to my cats all the time so soon Jasper was talking back. He has a very quiet voice, but is expressive with all the different sounds he makes, he only gets loud when stressed. But he tends to answer me most times when I am talking to him, or about him, he knows his name . And he will come and talk to me without my starting it when he wants me for something.

Yes, meowmy does listen MOST of the time when I am trying to tell her something, but sometimes she dozent understan or else she busy and say wait a little bit jasper .

Hi Bobbie, no, I no longer work outside the house. I guess you could say I am now a full time homemaker/kitten entertainer

I think my favorite part of the day is early morning before it gets too hot!

Jasper and my special times are early in the morning when he first wakes me and late at night when everyone else has gone to bed , those are the times he will settle down a bit and let me hold him and love on him when no one else can see he isn't being a "tuff cat"

Meowmy Bobbie, my favorite place is wherever my MEOWMY IS !! I tries to stay within 2 feet or less of her at ALL times . cuz I am MEOWMYS boy .

Thank you Katie, I am having lots of fun but certainly didn't mean to skip your question, in fact I have answered this once but it never appeared so I guess my computer played a trick on both of us! Alright, lets try this again!

Jaspers eyes are blue, which makes taking pictures of him challenging because if I try to use a flash, he turns into a red eyed demon!

Dere Katie, meowmys eyes are hazel, they change from grey to green to blue depending on her mood!
