Last evening my husband was laying sideways in the arm chair, with his legs over the arm, sound asleep, "watching" TV. The cat was on the back of his chair also sound asleep, with his front leg sticking out, across hubbys forehead, it looked like he had a bad wig on.

If only I had a digital camera.

What moments would you have snapped if only you had one handy at the time?

LOL... that image is hilarious and priceless.

Even with a digital camera... those kind of moments just pass by me... cuz by the time I get my paws on the camera... the moment has passed.

That's the whole point, we all have missed moments, anyone else care to discribe theirs?

i have to tell you, with my digital i snap more and more candid shots, i'm sure to have missed or didn't care enough to get a 35mm out of the drawer (the digital is always around somehow).

What i miss most are the shots i didn't take when i was young - growing up in russia, a camera was a big deal and not everyone had them.

I want a digital camera too...but which one to buy is confusing.
I can't decide which one would be the best for cat pix. I need a camera that takes great pix in low light because my furkids live indoors...plus their really funny behavior is in the evening, when the lights are turned on low. I can't pay more than $400 but would like to pay less if possible.
Any ideas about what might be a good one to buy?

Loads of cats and loads of missed moments. If we'd had video back then, I would have loved to get the reaction of Magnolia to Dad and his -ahem - gas. She was curled up against his thigh (he was in bed under the covers) and Dad broke wind. After a second or two, Magnolia's eyes came open and she started sniffing the air. When she traced the smell to Dad, she gave him a look that could kill, and never slept with him again!

Then there was Sheba's reaction to Solomon having stayed out all night. She beat him up and she was smaller than him! He had to take refuge in my bedroom for 3 weeks until she stopped cussing at him.

And there's was the kitten who at 4 weeks was exploring the kitchen and came up to Dad. He stop at Dad's feet and started to look up - and up - and up - (Dad was 6 foot tall) and finally fell over backwards from stretching his head back too far.

I'll stop now...
