I'm a 21 y/o English major in Philadelphia.
These are my guys;
Tybalt : my very first cat. he's about three and a half to four years old, and i adopted him almost two and a half year ago (wow). i asked for a friendly cat, and boy did i get one. he's big and huggable.
Kate : well. tybalt was too friendly and once he lost bedroom privileges (he smothers and there wasn't enough room for two people and the smothering), he howled at the door nightly, with his big old tomcat lungs. so we got kate, who, at the size of my hand, scared the crap out of 14 lb tybalt with her mighty hiss. she got older and they spent a lot of time together, and the nightly yowling stopped. she's very people shy and it's taken all of this past year and a half for her to solicit pets and let me pet her.
Kanine : the red-headed step child, lol. i got him around my 21st b-day last september. he was at the god-awful pet store i worked at for a few months. while i managed not to get attached to the other animals, this one got me. he leaped onto my shoulder at feeding time and licked me to death (hence the name). home he came, with fun health issues (never ever buying from a pet store again, the adoptees were so much better). he hasn't entirely gelled witht he other two but they put up with him and sometimes sleep together. he is a real trouble maker but for every new way he finds to make us crazy, we've managed to find a way to curb that behavior. it just takes a little creativity. he's definitely the last kitty for me, lol.
all are fixed, none are declawed, and i love them all.
i'm looking forward to hanging around the boards.
