Hi I'm a newbie

Hi Everybody!

I am new to this site and just wanted to say hi.

One of your members saw my post on Oscarfish.com about a stray kitty I found- she recommended I visit here and post on the SOS page, in case anyone could help.

Anyhow, I am currently at my office printing copies of his picture to take around my neighborhood tomorrow in case I can find someone who will adopt him. The poor little guy turned out to be FIV positive, so there may not be much hope.

But in the meantime, I have to say no matter what happens, something good came from this sad situation, because I found this BBS. I have actually searched on Google several times for a cat BBS and have never found one!! So you can imagine how happy I feel right now- like the bee girl who found others like her!!

Anyhow, I don't mean to run on, I just wanted to say how happy I am to be here.

So far the little stray boy is still alive and well in the hospital. The hospital told me they know one woman who has a FIV positive kitty and they are going to ask her if she would be interested in keeping this other little guy.

Speaking of kitties, my one cat is on the keyboard while I am typing this - he is very hyper today! Does anyone else have kitties that jump up while you are typing??

jump up, walk accross, bat at screen...you name it, they do it! :laughing2:
