I am one of those few lucky peeps to be a heavy sleeper and quick to fall asleep.

Funny how people like me are also always the snorer too.

I have a difficult time sleeping and very often find myself lying there stressing over one thing or another.
I really try to focus myself on peaceful thoughts, though sometimes it's just difficult when I have a lot on my mind.

I usually hope that, tonight, the stupid drunken Americans that I have to share a building with here won't make enough noise to wake me up. So far, this week's been a let down.

I think about how I can care for my pets better the next day. I only stress if I forgot to do something, or is something exciting is happening the next day.

Well, for me, to fall asleep, I have to have the tv on. I concentrate on the show and next thing I know, I'm sawing logs........

I try not to stress about stuff before I go to sleep, or I will dream about it and even if I do sleep, I don't get much rest. I pray, cuddle a kitty or 4, or think about how I can make the next day better. I try to spend a few minutes thinking about how blessed I really am, despite a few bumpy spots, and relatively minor things.

I chose other because there are times when I'm doing all of those things, and I'm sure we'll find that for a good majority it's the same. It just all depends on how much is going on in my life, how on top of things I feel, and how utterly exhausted I am.

Sunday nights, thoughts of what I have to do at work that week normally keep me up a good bit. But during the week, I'm so tired I usually fall asleep in the middle of my prayers!

Me too! I have the sleep timer on for 30 minutes, usually on the History Channel, for some reason. If the tv goes off before I am fast asleep, I know it's going to be a tough night.

I have to have the TV and the air cleaner machine going. If I don't have the drone of that fan, I cannot sleep. I usually have a miserable time when I'm out of town. I got a sound machine which helps (I put the waves on) but if I forget that, I might as well just stay awake.

At the kitty's beck and call
I chose fantasy as I have a couple of storylines that have been rolling around my head for about 20 years or so - they don't normally get very far though because before long I'm zzzzzzzzing. If I didn't do that I'd think about "real" things and that would be BAD - as I wouldn't sleep.

Not a good sleep habit.

I am normally thinking about all the work I have to do or worrying over problems i am having. And also the first thing i think of when I go to bed is, are all the locks on the doors, windows etc.

Its normally takes me a while to get to sleep as I am busy worrying about the above and thinking 'are my kittys ok' etc.
