ground or air cat?

I was told that cats are either "ground" or "air" cats. Meaning, they like to play on the ground or in the air. My cat is DEFINATELY a ground cat. You could hold his food bowl above his head and he wouldn't try to jump for it, but give him something to pounce on.. he goes nuts. Has anyone else noticed or heard this before?

Not really in my house, however I have 11 and they all seem to be going at one time. In this case I have both up and down and they are all over the place so it's hard to watch one in particular...
