i just got back home, i went with my bf in his wagon today to keep him company.

we were going along the motorway when all the cars were slowing down, as we were coming up to this point, there was this poor dog in the middle lane, i wont go in to gorey details, you can imagine
, i think he was a white alsation(sp?), but his coat was all covered in blood, and now i cant get that image out of my head!
That poor baby
RIP

I think its just as horrible seeing lots of kangaroos dead on the big road in australia and hardly any truckies stop to help them

oh no, that's terrible.
I've seen plenty of killed deer on the road, but never any domestic animals

It did'nt look like anybody had stopped, but the police were on their way because i could hear their sirens, but all the cars were swerving and slowing down to dodge the body

i've seen similar situations with dogs and humans ! helped load the injured dog into a car, however the woman I saw in the road never made it, she had hit her head too hard. I'll never forget the site of her, she looked like she was sleeping as she only had a bit of blood coming out her ear, otherwise looked fine. Even though that was over 12 years ago I picture it perfectly in my mind

I am so sorry you had to see that. It would stick with me too. I get sick at the thought of animals being harmed like that.
