Yesterday, I was doing the washing up and Tibby was patiently watching me. While I turned around to collect some more dishes, he had dropped his tail into the water and was COMPLETELY oblivious and totally absorbed in eating his new cat grass!!
I was even able wash their bowls and get my camera!
He only noticed when he started to walk off and the tip of his tail was heavy!!
He wasn't keen on me drying it either!

He's improving, but it was as though I had just picked up a dinosaur or something, the way he'd go!
Poor thing!

Silly Tibby. I guess the water wasn't that hot either or he would have noticed.

Awwwwwwww

Gilly it's just ordinary grass seeds that you sprinkle in a pot of soil. I did a small tray for Rosie once but she preferred to scratch the soil out rather than eat the grass

Ryan, my boiler has packed in, so the water was pretty tepid!

Gilly, you can buy cat grass from most pet shops and garden centres, I have also recently found it in Asda!
It's just a variety of grass types that you can grow indoors - for them to chew and help them to bring up hair balls if needs be! I hope that helps!

Tibby you're very lucky your mum cleaned your tail off for you. You would not have liked the way dish detergent tastes

Yeah, Cat Grass is cheap in the UK, under £1 for quite a big packet of seeds. It is a bit better for them to eat than our lovely plants! (I had the same problem with them chewing my plants!
)

I could always send you some if you can't get any cheap!

Love those pics!!

Buddy does that ALL the time!! He'd sit on the edge of the tub while I bathe and would either act like he doesn't know his tail was eventually getting wet or he'd look at the tail as it'd start dipping into the water then he'd flick the tail up trying to catch it and start going around and around on the rim of the bathtub trying to catch the tail to groom..

He has fallen into the water numberous times due to this and he STILL is doing it!!
