I'm excited, even though the reviews are pretty bad

I love scary movies and hope this one won't dissapoint.

This will be at our local drive-in, they just opened it last weekend, i can't wait!

Cool! Drive-ins are fun. I don't know of any that are still opened around here. Looking forward to hearing how scary it is!!

on that note, I thought the grudge was better than the japanese version.. so pfft

on the other hand, "Ringu" was better than "the ring"

Personally my only concern is that if the sequel is based on ringu, it's not going to make as much sense, as the boy in the original was "gifted" with the same sort of powers that the sada was..in the american remake, he wasn't. (and they didn't touch on her history at all almost, in the american)

i saw the american 'grudge' and it was terrible, not scary at all and stupid.

Oh, i heard there's this japanese movie called 'the audition' that's supposed to be very scary, i saw it sold online, but not in our local blockbuster.

Ok well we saw it yesterday. I really enjoyed it. You have to keep in mind though that this one is more about the story than being completely terrifying. It's suspenseful, has some great scenes, and definitely has its scary parts but is not nearly as scary as the first one. This one is great though as the story line really comes together and you really understand what the heck is going on by the end.

So everyone who plans on seeing it, enjoy!

UPDATE: FINALLY SAW THE RING 2.

I have to say it was a good movie but not particularly interesting one. some parts of the story just do not make any sense, like the deer with antlers.

special effects were really good, i loved the water flowing upside down,
i have never seen that before.

I also think that they hired this Japanese director, who may not understand our culture, since i felt there were a lot of elements in the movie i didn't get.

Overall, I'd say see it, but don't blame me if you don't' like it, i sort of warned you
