Would it be cruel to clip a month old kittens claws?
the are razor sharp and stick to fabric like velcro!

At the vet I used to volunteer at, I clipped a month and a half kittens claws, so I don't see a problem with it, especially since he/she is getting caught on stuff.

Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not too sure, here.

I had to do it too, because the sides of my legs were getting raked with long, deep scratches until I did *grin* Just be very, very careful and I usually like to wait until they are good and sleepy so wear them out with a nice, long feather wand session. *grin*

i think i'll ask my vet to do it.

I had to get someone else to type that question for me because i was trying to un-hook the kitten from my neck. trouble is he gets nice and sleepy and doesnt want to be moved so he digs in his claws. he hasnt yet learnt the vital difference between fabric and human flesh!
