Odd Question

I just went to change the litterbox and I noticed Miss Lil' urinated on the edge of the box. So it kind of spilled over on the side. I am assuming she just sort of missed...Anyway, being that she always goes in the box I have never noticed the color of her urine before. It is kind of an amber color. Is that normal? I have no idea what cat urine looks like. Just wondering???

I think that lighter is better. If the urine is really dark, she may not be drinking enough water. Also, if she continues to pee outside the box, you may want to have a vet do a urinalysis. It could be a sign of a urinary tract infection.
