We have two cats, they are beautiful. We rescued the mother, while she was pregnant, now her son is 5 months old and is almost as tall as she is. We live in a single room apartment and cannot keep them anymore. My wife and I work and study full time. We think it is not fair for the two of them to be all day alone in such a small place. If you are interested in adopting them, please write me an email. We live in Miami, FL, but are willing to send them wherever necessary, we just want them to stay together and have a lovely home. I have posted pictures of the cats here www.geocities.com/jriano74 , all the contact information is there as well. Thank you

jriano..I know you probably think your place is small..but believe me...compared to most shelter spaces...your place is probably a mansion. If there is any way you can keep these 2..that is best since they are both familiar with you. However, I can understand and appreciate wanting them to be in the best home.

Katie, we wont take the cats to a shelter. If we have to, we'll keep them. But this is the problem. We are a young couple, we leave home at around 7 am, and after work, we go to college, so we get back home at around 11 pm. Peguita (the mother) is even gaining weight, because she just eats and sleeps. Sometimes when we get home, they look kind of depressed. So what we'd love is for someone to adopt them, someone with time for them. And we do not want to separate them, they are very attached to each other.

Juan...it's very admirable....but I will admit...I have 2 cats...and I'm usually away from 9 AM until 7/8/9 PM every night....plus on weekends I spend time volunteering. I do believe that time is sometimes more a matter of quality versus quantity. As far as sleeping/eating...that is pretty much what my cats do...and chase each other and invisible bugs. I do try to play with the feather toy with them and provide them with self entertaining toys (like milk bottle rings). I'm glad you will not give these 2 up to a shelter and do hope the right adoptor does come along...but just know...you aren't the only people who leave their cats for hours at a time.

Yes, I agree with what you say. We will let them go only to a better place, if we find one. If we do find one, I'll let you guys no, so far that is not the case.
