Since we have discussed it here, this is the report about the
Oil for food. In a nut shell big Anna didn't know, little Annan did. What I thought would be found.

I think Annan Sr is a decent guy and I hope this brings some healthy end to the rumors and speculation.

I happened to catch Kofi Annan's press conference over lunch. When asked if he thought it would be best for the organization for him to resign, his answer was "Hell no."

On the topic, though. Volker doesn't totally exonerate Annan. The report says there is insufficient evidence to say one way or the other. Also, although he may not have know when the bid took place, Volker also said that the fact that Annan Jr.'s company held the contract was "public knowledge" since 1999. And, it was also found that Annan's chief advisor did some major paper shredding. Of course the contents are not known.

Am I saying he's guilty? Nope. There is no way to know definitively. He could very well be totally innocent and those under him kept pertinent information from him.
