Hello Catlovers,

My whole life I have been hopelessly in love with cats.
I am owned by 2 beautiful furbabies, who will be 5 years old in July. They are brother & sister.

Dexter is a big boy at 15lbs. His sister Sadie, weighs 9 1/2 lbs. They have green eyes, pink noses & paws, white fur with gray or tabby markings. I think that they are beautiful. When I figure out how to do it...I will post pix of them.

Early tomorrow morning, California time, Sadie is going to her vet to have her teeth cleaned. She is beginning to have gum irritation by her back teeth & her breath is beginning to have an odor. It is time to get it done. I am scared to death.

This is our introduction to you plus a request for your prayers that sweet Sadie returns home tomorrow afternoon healthy & strong.

I look forward to getting to know you & your cat families.

Sadie is in my thought and prayers. It is so scary, the not knowing. Just think positive and please let us know how he is doing, when you find out.

Sadie, Dexter and I thank all of you loving humans, from the bottom of our hearts, for your warm welcomes.

When Sadie comes home tomorrow & I know that she feels stable & secure, I will add a reply to this thread, to let you know how her sparkling teeth are doing.

I am so glad that I found this site.

((((Hugs))))to all our furbabies & you too.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Hi, Sierra and I welcome you to TCS, Sadie, Dexter, and Lei!
So glad you've joined us and look forward to getting to know you better!
You're doing the right thing having your little girl's teeth clean! I can sure understand your nervous feelings. Sierra had hers cleaned last year, and I was a wreck! I am praying for Sadie and know she is going to sail right through her procedure and come home with her bright shiny teeth to cuddle up with her Mommy!
Please let us know when she arrives home safe and sound! I would be so happy to help you in any way as you learn your way around the site. Please, simply click on my user name and send me a Private Message!

I just talked to Sadie's Vet & she did fine. I will bring her home in a couple of hours. I am writing this now, because I don't think I will be on the computer later and I want to thank all of you warm hearted, thoughtful people for thinking of us.

I uploaded some pix of Dexter & Sadie to the photobucket site but I still do not understand how to add them to my signature. Also...where is the best place to put snapshots of my furbabies on this site? If I can I would like to do what I have seen in your messages. I love your signatures.

Thanks again....

((((Hugs))))

Sister Sadie is doing fine. She came home yesterday about 4:30PM...still "ripped" from the general anesthesia she had for her teeth cleaning. For hours her hind legs would not follow her front legs. She tried to jump to the top of her cat tree but only her front paws made it. She looked like the classic cat poster "Hang In There Baby." Those kind of things just make me love her even more...if that is possible.

I sat with her until midnight, when she finally was stable enough to have a little soft food with sauce. Yum

Sadie slept until I heard her hungry meow at 3:30 this morning. I gave her the antibiotics her vet wants her to take for a week, then she ate with vigor, took care of her litter box needs and is now peacefully sleeping.

Her brother Dexter, was a good boy yesterday. He is very big. They play hard but when she came home, he sniffed her, licked her, & watched over her.

I will keep a close eye on Sweet Sadie today but I expect everything to be fine.

I can hardly wait until I have the energy (sleep?
) and time to really dig in a learn all the features of this wonderful site.

Meow to you all.

Yippee, Lei!
Sierra and I are so happy to hear that Sadie home and feeling so well already!
Oh, I know she was just so cute hanging from her cat tree! What a sweet baby, how wonderful that she has eaten and is now resting so comfortably! Dexter is such a great brother, isn't he, taking such gentle care of her when she arrived home!

Lei, you're such a fantastic Mommy, please try to get some rest now! Sierra and I are so happy you and your family are here with us!
