Last night I tried to edit in a new signature from Photobucket-I had already downsized it there, twice, & when I copied it over into my Edit signature box & previewed it, it remained it's original size. I tried it again just now, same thing. Originally it is 696x245@40k, I had downsized it to 174x62@19k.
Can someone tell me what I'm not doing?
Also, I made another sig & just posted it to Photobucket- I haven't yet resized it, so is there a better way for me to do this from the beginning?
Anne suggested I post my questions here so that others might learn from it, too.
P.S What are the size requirements for sigs? I know it's posted somewhere...

O.K., but how do I get the downsizing on Photobucket to also downsize on my "Edit Signature"?

I have found the easiest way is to downsize before you get to photobucket. That way you can upload it straight into photobucket and on to TCS without worrying about it.

How are you making your siggy? What program? I use photoshop~

If you would like I can do it for you

Though I won't be around for a day or 2 you can email the pics you want to use to me and I will get it back to you as soon as I can

I used Photoshop Elements 2.
Thanks for the idea, I'll go back & try it & see how it goes from there.

Yay! It looks like it's going to work, thank you!!!
I noticed some things I need to do to make it better before showing it here, but that was exactly what I needed!

Thanks!
I am such an idiot! Sometimes I want to scan too quickly thru things-on the edit screen today, what did I see? Two buttons to click on for increasing & decreasing size. Sigh...
