Is this a good sign?

For the past 4-5 days (and increasingly every day) the girls chase each other back and forth. Eponine will chase Cosette into the bedroom. Then Cosette will chase Eponine back out into the family room. And so on and so on. This usually goes on for 1-2 minutes at a time before Eponine tires of it and gives Cosette one warning hiss or just jumps out of the way.
My question is: is this chasing a good sign that they will more than likely get along halfway decently? To me, it definitely seems like they're playing when they do this, but there are other times when Eponine will hiss and growl at Cosette, so I'm so confused.

Does anyone else think the play chasing is a good sing?

Yep chasing is good exercise and as long as they aren't forming battle lines and tossing grenades they should be fine-

Living in the land of not enough time
My boys have the stairs when they decide to become race cars. Pipsqueek will walk over to Frantic, bite him on the back of the neck, then the race begins. Its a very casual bite but it always gets them started

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Amy it's a brilliant sign!
Rosie and Sophie chase each other like that, with Rosie chasing Sophie into the livingroom, but then Sophie jumps up onto the top of the sofa, stares Rosie out and then she chases after Rosie, and if their running around upstairs it sound like theres two 2 year old toddlers upstairs!.

It's always Sophie who jumps up on heights though, as if Rosie can't jump?!

When Rosies had enough of Sophie though she will give a faint growl at her to back off because thats her way of saying she's had enough play for the time being.

Susan, Rosie and Sophie sound so much luck Cosette and Eponine! Too funny. Hopefully I can get some cute pictures of them together one day the way you've done with your girls

Thank you everyone for sharing your stories. I am so extremely happy that Cosette and Eponine found me and now they appear to becoming friends with each other!

It's a good sign that they are beginning to interact. This is especially true if they respect each other's "Enough! Leave me alone!" signs.

P.S. - love their names!

Sorry couldn't help but laugh. I started to picture my three tossing grenades.

Chasing each other is pretty much normal. And it sounds like they are still establishing each other's boundaries. No need to stress. Before you know it, they could be doing this at 3:00AM in the morning, that is if they're not already!
