ok, i'm getting a distinct feeling Marsh is right-handed .. err.... right-pawed

He will dig in litter box primarily with his right, he'll 'bury' food also with his right, and he'll try to play with small insects he catches around the house also with his right.

do you get the same feeling about your cat(s)???

Hmm, not sure. I've noticed Baylee likes to pat at the water bowl with the same paw... gimme a bit to observe her because I can't remember which paw!

In line with her meowmy's political affiliation, it looks as if Cosette is left-wing, er, I mean pawed.

I was just thinking this last night watching Saba bat her pink mouse back and forth!! I was thinking maybe I should as on the Boards!

Sasha is right, Saba is left....it's the first one she starts with all the time.

Don't remember where I read it now, but I gather the majority of cats are southpaws. I had noticed that Shasta (RB) favoured her left, and then ran into that comment somewhere or other. Since then I've watched, and not had a righthander yet. They all have tended to favour the left, all things being equal.

My Cat Cali uses her right paw to eat. That's right to eat. She'll sit at her bowl and scoops out a piece of her cat food and bring it to her mouth and eat it like a person. It's the cutest darn thing I have seen.

When they use the litterbox, they tend to use their left first to dig. But then after a while they switch to using the right paw. Same thing when playing.

Usually when Buddy "Shakes paws" with me (trained him to touch my hand with his) he uses his right paw.
