Introduction of myself and Nepheline

Hi, I joined the site last week when my kitten Nepheline was sick. Thanks so much for everyones help! She is home now and we are both doing a lot better and I thought I would now properly introduce myself! My name is Laurel and I'm in grad school. I got Nepheline 6 weeks ago and very quickly fell in love with her. She was in the hospital all last week and I'm very relieved to have her home now! I got her from the Humane Society when she was 8 weeks old. She is grey and white with short fur. Now that I have her I really look foward to going home!

Nepheline is the name of a greyish coloured mineral. Soon as I saw her the name came to me. I will post some photos soon, she is very cute!

I saw your board name and the name of your kitten and had to respond! Is your knowledge of minerals associated with your grad studies?

Welcome and hope Miss Nepheline has a healthy future.

I thought as much! I'm a rockhound and lapidary myself. Once named a calico kitten Puddingstone.
