This morning, being Sunday and therefore my lie-in, I do as I usually do, and turn on ClassicFM. tell me I'm an old woman, but it's much nicer than some trash that goe son air these days. Sunday morning is usually their request show, and given what's gone on over the last week, I decided to put in a request for mum to say thanks for being there for me, little realising that they're counting down the top 300 pieces of altime... which lasts until Monday apparently....
So, I consult my "little oracle" Alex. He thought that music for nana on the radio would be a "wonderful idea - will the radio people play the 'fish music'?"
*fish music... fish music.... hrmn.... Saint Seans, the Aquarium?*
"You know mummy... the one with LOTS of fish in it...."
*racking my brains, still no idea*
"Sweetheart, mummy doesn't understand...."
*he looks up at me with that really innocent, but very serious little face*
"Of course you do, it's YOUR favourite."

"O, Fortuna."
