Jerry makes me very proud!

Just had to share this with you guys before I go to bed............

Jerry just called to say goodnight. *He's at the firestation*. Well, I asked him how his night was so far and he said that he had had one EMS call and the guy had had a heart attack and twice Jerry was able to bring him back. When they left the guy at the hospital, the ER docs said that he "should" be ok.
He really makes me proud sometimes..........

oh Susie, that is a wonderful, honorable man and you take part in that too...it takes two at home to give him the kind of support I'm sure he's so proud of too!

What a great guy - an all round talent. Not only can he perform such wonderful deeds, but he can come up with home remedies for illness too (I remember the photo)

I'd be incredibly proud - my Uncle was Chief of Blue Watch in Kent for a time and there are some nights we'd wish like nothing on earth that he'd give up his job just to keep him safe. But these guys put their lives on the line every day to make sure everyone else stays safe - and sometimes I think they'd not last long in any other profession - they love what they do My uncle retired after he had to clear up after a car exploded, killing everyone inside, two of them children. He's been into blazing buildings, he's pulled people from various wrecks, he's even rescued the odd kitten up a tree, but there was nothing could have prepared him for the horror of two little charred bodies. He adores children and I think that night, it really struck home. I'd say you're busting with pride sweetie and who'd blame you! Firefighters and the like see crisis after catastrophe after disaster and they keep on at it Brave, brave men... if only more people took notice of what they had to say in warnings....

Thanks Emma.........yes, I am very very proud of my husband, but so can you be of your Uncle.........what an awful thing for him to see though.......anytime a child gets hurt in any type of way, it really hits home. But that, how awful!

That is so great, I always say there are heroes among us. I have a friend who is an EMT and I am so proud of him.

Yeah give the poor guy a break! (just kidding)

We supply the paramedics and ER with their on-hand stuff and I hope the guy makes it!!
I deliver all kinds of epidurals, etc... during my shift to ICU units at the hospital and I wonder if the people are going to pull through. You don't have any clue of what their life is like. It's great when you hear about a patient that came from such a situation that is doing well.

Be proud, (I know you are ) !!!
