Have you thought of adding the [eek] hack?

I used to be on a vbulletin forum years ago that offered the blue fog option, better known as the Eek hack.

What it did was turn any text inside the code to a blue fog, which could them be revealed by highlighting the covered text with either the mouse or by selecting all text with Ctrl + A.

I wanted to bring it up, because I thought it might be a good idea for threads in SOS that contain sensitive info that people might not want to read. It's also a great way to talk about movies and shows without giving obvious spoilers. It lets people enter the thread, and then decide whether or not to read what is written.

If I remember correctly, it couldn't be used for thread titles, though I might be wrong.

Just thought I'd ask.

I believe that we are due for an upgrade, so we won't be installing any hacks until that's over and done with. But that fog sounds cool!

I do that all the time for answers with riddles and such. You know what you could do instead?
Make your text white, and tell them to highlight it if they want to see it.
See watch... highlight the below text.

Isn't this the same that you were talking about? This is how I do it.

See? Sounds like the blue fog thing... is it the same?

Its really a good idea, but the problem is that it CAN be read depending on what forum "skin" is being used. Night Vision for example has a navy background so the writing is clear as day
