Tomorrow, my sweet little Sassy-kitty is going for THE operation

Not really expecting any responses, just crying on the collective shoulder...

I love my little girl and I'm worried about her...

Hi Bill - I'm sure she'll be fine, but I know you'll worry anyway. My Puffy is going in for his operation in two weeks, and I know I'll worry too. Let us know how she does...

Thanks, Debby and everyone else. Sassy made her return home, same day. My wife and son went to pick her up, as I work an hour away from home. She was quite groggy still. Everything went just fine (I secretly knew it would, but she's my little girl). Lots of sleep, with just a couple of moments where she wanted "special" treats. Broke our hearts not to be able to give her the "Sip Milk" she loves. The discharge papers cautioned against too much food for fear of up vomiting.

She would sit in the kitchen, looking at us, as if to say, "I don't feel too good. I need my special treat to make me feel better." Regular food and water just weren't getting for her last night.

This a.m., she's much improved. She's trying to pick on her older "brother" Striker a little and she's back to playing with her food.

She's goes back in 7-10 days to get stitches removed. I wish they had used dissolvable. Oh well...

Thanks for everyone's support!

Bill
