Hi everyone-
Ozzy just vomitted 10 minutes ago, and I thought he had eaten too fast because he does that sometimes, but when I cleaned it up I saw that he vomitted up a piece of ribbon. I have no idea how we got hold of it-and i have no idea how big it was! now he seems fine, playing around, but I don't know if i need to worry since he vomitted it up. It's not even a normal ribbon, it's a kind of thready nylon ribbon that is now in pieces, with loads of little threads-
should i call the vets tonight? it's already almost 9 pm- or should i wait until tomorrow morning? he has been eating today although he was very calm....

thanks

Keep a very, very close eye on him. If he seems fine, you should be okay. But if he vomits again, take him to the emergency clinic ASAP.

thanks everyone- i called them earlier, about 3 hours ago, and the vet said i should keep a close eye on him, give him some oil to lubricate his stomach lining and call her if anything comes up. She said since he threw it up it should be fine, then she said "if he had thrown it up in little pieces it would be more worrying" and i said "ummm, it was in pieces!" but then I told her he had eaten so she said that was a good sign and that i should just keep an eye on him and call if anything came up. So I'll probably have a sleepless night
and take him tomorrow morning.
I don't even know how I would have taken him tonight, the vet on call is in another village and I have no car!taxi for mr. ozzy i suppose , i would do anything for him
Anyhow, i'll keep you posted but thank you so much
