Well for those who think a Broken or chipped nail is bad well guess again. I have half a nail on my right pointer finger. I had a bad accident on tryn to get a T post out of the ground by levering it with a wood post and brick. I had my hand under the lever and with out notic I lost my balance and my hand hit a hidden conrete rock in which I had pulled my hand up to see the damage but all there was is blood.

So i go to wash it off to see my nail had cracked in a moon shaped fashion a small curve. Well two days later (today) I was washing dishes and I went to check my nail and seen it had opend up and started bleeding. i PRESS ON IT AND i SE IT SUCKING IN AIR. Opps hit the caps sry!! It took about an hour and a half to pull half the nail part off that was dead. now i cant type with it or do dishes for a few days. I almost vomited when I had seen the under part of the nail. I hope it grows back. IT BETTER.

I was able to seperate my yard from my neighbors yard
with the T posts I gotten for the fence.

ouch! That made me wanna pass out when I read that...i get all queezy and dizzy when i read/hear/see anything like that. yucky!!! I hope it grows back soon!!!

My pinky toe nails have always grown in split, all the down so I always have the problem of getting the smaller have caught on a sock or something and ripping off. ouch, i know! and gross too. It just happened to me again the other day. I don't know why they both grow that way...genetic or something maybe? I'm a freak. haha!

Since i have little nails anyways you can't see 'em unless you look closely so thank goodness I don't look freakish.

Ouch! I'm pretty sure it will grow back. My cousin lost a nail once and it grew back.

OUCH!! I know that hurts. I've had my finger nails break off and they have always grown back. It takes a while but they will come back.

About 2 weeks ago I hit my foot on my Grandma's oxyen cart and knocked my toe nail off. I didn't even notice anything ws wrong other than it HURT for a few minutes. I looked down and there was drops of my blood all over the carpet. Finally after 2 weeks I can wear a shoe without much pain.

Yipes and Owchie! Sorry to hear about that. I did that myself about two months ago. I was trying to move some boxes from under my bed, and ripped my thumbnail in half. Thank heavens for superglue!

You have to be careful that it doesnt become an ingrown when it grows back!
so pay extra attention to it!

I cracked a nail across about a month ago, don't know how. But it has been slowly growing back, and I have kept a plaster on it since then, to stop it tearing. Don't worry, keep it dry and cleanand it will grow. But it takes a long time!

Ouch! I lost the toenail on my little toe in a freak accident about four years ago. It eventually grew back, but is a really weird shape - sort of concave.

LOL!!!!!

Well to be happy enough to say that its now a healthy pink instead of a dark red, no well slight pain. Im going to buy some nail groth formula. It will help it grow and be a healthier nail.
