Well, I had been meaning to give up fast food... I think it's finally a good time to start.

Me too. I was soo grossed out when I saw that movie, but it was really informative. I had to stop getting McDonald's for a time after the movie... but now, addicted again! Although I live outside US, will definitely stay away from Wendy's from now on!! (even though their bacon mushroom melt is to die for!)

I heard about it and thought it was a joke. My daughter loves Wendy's. We don't go there anymore because the only Wendy's near us is really dirty and the people who work there are real greasy looking. The manager was covered in these hairy moles, all over his hands & face, and well he was handling food & stuff with all those moles. So uh we now go to Subway.
I think poor Dave Thomas is going to roll in his grave over this one. Something happened to Wendy's after Dave passed away. I was curious too, like Cirque said, about the missing finger... I mean, if someone lost a finger in the meat processing plant, why not shut the plant down & look for the dang thing??? I guess because that would cost too much money, too much downtime, Wendy's would lose MONEY....
Well guess what... how many people who have heard this story (or been to a Wendy's recently, like myself) will be going for Wendy's chili or even a freaking Frosty anytime soon???

Ugh!! I used to work for Wendys...and you know...the finger would have to have been in either the seasoning pouch, the vegetables, or the cans of beans because the meat is meat that they cook especially for chili. Like you can only have the hamburger on the grill for a certain amount of time, and then you have to take it off, and it goes in a pan with water where is simmers, and then it is chopped up and put in chili. The joys of fast food...
that is so horrible, yuck, i cant even imagine finding a finger in my food
I have to admit, that if I happened to have been the one who found it, or saw it, I'd almost guarantee that I wouldn't joke about it like I did in this thread!
