My new cat, Kitley, selected me at the Rescue League on Sunday. She is active and loving. She had a brief check-up and rabies shot at the vet on Monday.

Now for the problem. She has not eaten much in her 4 days with us. The previous owner fed 9 lives dry and the Rescue League fed Royal Canin dry. She was only at the Rescue League a few days. She is currently showing little interest in Royal Canin dry but a moderate interest in Natural Choice wet. Also, she is drinking only a couple of ounces of water daily. She is using the litter box but elimination is minimal.

Then today she started sneezing very lightly.

There is another cat in the house but they have been kept in separate rooms. She has shown very little interest in sniffing around.

Stress? Or should I head back to the vet? Thanks for any advice.

I would recommend taking her temperature. From the sound of things, I suspect she has a virus with a fever. These things usually get better on their own (like a cold or the flu), but you do need to keep an eye on them.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Went to the vet. Cold with slight temp. Amoxidrops, antibiotic injection, subcutaneous fluids. Feeling much better but still eating very little.
