Somewhere in the not too distant past of TCS, there is a thread about two of my kits tag-teaming to cause me to trip and hit the floor.........

I just checked back in on this thread...Turtlecat, that picture is soooo funny! (And good! Did you draw it?) That's pretty much how I remember the scene (well, except from ground level). Hahaha...Originally Posted by turtlecat
REALLY? I would LOVE to read that!! Luckily my landlords were deaf so I didn't wake them up with my screaming!Originally Posted by gemlady
Pamela - Somewhere I came across a story that happened to a woman about the day her cat jumped on the edge of the tub, slid in, then jumped and latched on to her hair (long braids wound up). Someday I will find it again. Even had the neighbors and police involved!
That just makes me cringe!!! My knee is now a lovely shade of green and brown...its quite yucky looking...I still havent learned not to run in the house!!Originally Posted by Pamela
I had to chuckleat some of your stories and also winceat the pain you guys must've experienced!
I have gotten hurt several times by my cats but I will share the WORST experience in this post.
Buddy really likes to be on my back and/or shoulders and often would jump on my back startling me.
One morning I was getting out of the bathtub and I was rubbing myself dry bent over... Buddy jumped on me just as I started to straighten and down he went! He tried to stay on my shoulders by digging his claws in but instead raked his way down from my shoulders to my butt! I was screaming my head off in pain while this was happening! Now, the embarrassing part was later on when I went to work, people saw blood on my clothes (I couldn't reach the scratches so therefore couldn't put bandaids on them and didn't realize that it was still bleeding!)
I couldn't lay down on my back or sit for quite a while without PAIN. I have learned now whenever I am getting out of the bathtub to keep an eye on Buddy and if he starts jumping, I stay bent so he won't rake his claws down my back again!
I am glad to hear you didnt break any bones. And my cat has almost ended up in the bathtub with me on many occasions. I did chuckle at the mental picture of a cat on the woman's head...Originally Posted by gemlady
Diane - no broken bones, thank goodness, but some overextended muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
