This is such a great site! I am glad to have found it. I just started adopting! I am living in NYC with my wife and we adopted a beautiful, but skinny tux named Jacques. He quickly developed a bacteria after we brought him home. Despite the tremendous help from our adoption rep, agency, and vet, Jacques die two weeks later. It was tough to handle, plus we had put so much effort into nursing him back to health.
We have since adopted a white/grey tabby mix and named him Fritz. Desipte a little cold, he is perfectly healthy. He has no trouble eating and loves to rub against anything and everything. And he's a plopper!
