For any who thinks astrology is hokey, feel free to pass on this thread.
I just thought it would be interesting to share how much of our sign's traits we believe we possess.


And actually, there is more to astrology than simply your SUN sign (which is indicative of your basic character). Your RISING sign represents how you appear to the outside world (also very important). There is also importance in the MOON sign and the north and south NODES. So, without going and doing a whole chart, let's see what we come up with!

I'm a Virgo sun with Aries rising. Though I'm often reserved and serious(Virgo), I can also be the life of the party (Aries). Though I tend to worry incessantly about my health (Virgo), I also like danger in the form of riding my Vespa (Aries). Though I enjoy helping others and like consistency (Virgo), I often feel the driving need to start new things (Aries), like this thread!
Plenty of contradictions... Sometimes it's hard to live with myself!


One this is certain... A woman with Virgo sun and Aries rising will NEVER be some man's domestic slave or plaything!

Virgo and Pisces are a good match.
Though a lot of it depends on the rest of your chart... which you can do if you know your birth time. There are TONS of websites on all this stuff!

hehe, well we do get along really good, only when we have our times we get so angry at each other but we cant stay mad at each other for long! plus if im still angry at him after an hour he will beg lik e a dog

My dad (RIP) was a Scorp, as well as my last serious boyfriend . Imagine a Scorpio sun and Aries rising in the same house... a total WAR ZONE!

Hey that's me and my boyfriend, but reversed! And yes, just like vespacat said, these signs are usually quite good for each other. Pisces and Virgos are considered opposing signs so there tends to be a lot of balancing between them. What Pisces lacks, Virgo makes up for in most cases and vice versa.


I've been big into astrology since I was about 8, and I am ABSOLUTELY a Pisces with Cancer rising (can you imagine the sensitivity
)! I'm SO sensitive (both signs), a MAJOR champion for the underdog (Pisces), highly empathetic (Pisces), very much a caretaker (Cancer), I tend to blame myself for everything (Pisces), am quite tempermental (Pisces), am very into the arts (Pisces), and have a huge connection with the ocean (Pisces - our ruler is Neptune, God of the sea).

haha, yes ive had scorpio friends, although they were very close they are very bossy one of them was very manipulative! :O

Brendan's dad is a scorpio and my GOD does that man know how to infuriate me!! I'm always telling Brendan he needs to stand up for himself because his dad is SOOOOOOOOOOO manipulative!!!!!
If he were my dad growing up there would have been nothing but fights all the time!

Oh yeah, the abundance of water most definitely shines through in me! Poor Brendan!!! He's come to understand though that I will cry when sad, happy, overly anxious, for no good reason at all, or scared! He must have thought I was a nutcase at first though with all that weeping!!


I would say that's a good position for sure!


I like to consider myself a dancer, and a mediocre actor!
The one thing I wish I had though was painting ability. I can draw stick figured, bunnies, cats, and flowers...and that's IT!

Oh no i'm not manipulative, BUT i am a loyal friend but if that friend upsets me badly they lose a friend for life because i bear grudges too much.

Sag and Virgo get along great on an intellectual level - as both tend to be more intellectual than emotional. Though, of course, it depends on the rest of your chart.

I am an Aquarian sun with Libra rising. I have the aquarian traits: extremely independent-cant be tied down for too long. I am very faithful and supporative. Lively, and original, I am always going in the opposite direction of the crowd! But...I have the very unpredictable trait as well. I can be chaotic one day or calm the next. I have the aquarian trait of being stubborn and rebellious.
I do have some Libra traits too...I am easygoing, and charming...my mom always said I could charm the birds from the trees or fish from the water if I really wanted to. All of my relationships are important to me, even friendships that end leave me mourning. I value peace at all costs. I have learned not to lose my temper as quickly. But I have a lot of indecisiveness, and I tend to want things my own way. I do have an Aries descendent, and because of that...my relationships have to be dynamic, and stimulating. And dont try to change me...I can be an unstoppable force!!! You certainly wont find me in a mentally domineering relationship!!! My husband is a Leo, and I think I leave scratching his head sometimes!
He knows I can be like a runaway train sometimes: full speed fown the track, forget the brakes, and if you dont want to get on board...then you better get out of my way!!!
