HI everyone. I just wanted to know if anyone knew why my cat max has developed a "swingy" belly. It is near his back legs. I doesn't hurt him and he is showing no signs of illness or discomfort. What is it and should I be worried? Please help

My female cat got the spay-sway soon after her spay. She has one sac on each side of her belly in the back. The vet took some cells out of it and they are just fat, and it doesn't bother her at all. I also read that they should never be removed because it could cause problems.

When I first saw them I got scared because I thought they might be tumors (they're underneath her nipples), that's why I took her to the vet, because I never heard of spay-sway before that. What a relief!!!!

Merlin's is huge, although he is 18 and a half pounds. (
We're working with him to loose some weight!) Even L.S. is starting to get one, at 10 months. He's overweight, too.

What surprised me is tiny little Ho Ho has that flap of skin, and he's always been the right size.
